SLAM TV @ WORDSTORM 2012

In 11th of MAY 2012, SLAM TV will premiere our first screening of international spoken word, slam and poetry on video at WORDSTORM 2012 – The Festival of Australian Writing in Darwin, which is also hosting the National Poetry Festival 2012. The screening will include performances by contemporary Australian spoken word artists and some of the best spoken word video art from all over the world.

This premiere event will be followed by a screening in Sydney at Word Travels on Thursday the 16th of May. To get free entry to this event, SLAM TV viewers are invited to contribute video to our HEART REMAINS OPEN PROJECT, an Australia wide open source video project in collaboration with hip hop artist Joelistics (Elefant Traks).
